Delete your Seen account or data

Delete your account

Seen (by Paul Taylor) lets you delete your account and all associated data directly in the app:

1. Open Seen and go to Profile
2. Tap Account
3. Tap Delete account and confirm

Deletion is immediate and permanent, and cannot be undone.

Two things are kept. Recommendations you sent stay in the recipient's inbox with your name removed, and your note on them stays. Your handle is held for 90 days so nobody else can claim it, then released.

Everything else is deleted, including your profile, library, ratings, reviews, episodes, comments, reactions, chats, recommendations you received, friends, photos, and feedback.

Chats are deleted for both people, so the person you were chatting with loses them too.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual data in the app at any time: remove titles from your library, delete your ratings and reviews, delete your comments, and change or remove your profile photo. Deleted items are removed immediately.

Email hello@seenrecs.com with your Seen handle and we'll delete your account or data for you.
